EXHIBITION AROUND is a workshop devoted to the subject of designing exhibition space.
The designer in the process of creating an exhibition or stage design is a link connecting the expectations of curators, artists and specialists from various fields responsible for implementation. The multitude of diverse issues that he must take into account in the planning process makes him partly become a visual director, screenwriter, and at the last stage of work - also an editor. Table structures from the exhibition scenario translate into space, narrative. Its concept must first take into account the physicality and meaning of the exposed object. However, it is the space that most conditions the exhibition. How it is organized and how it matters to the viewer / participant means that the architecture of the exhibition is more than a display case and a wall.
During the workshops, participants will learn how to design and organize an exhibition from the concept of the exhibition through the script to the assembly, and then prepare their exhibitions in the workshop.
Participants of the workshops are asked to bring with them particularly important photography, set of photographs or objects related to photography (camera, film, photo album, photo frame). Please also bring laptops with you, they can be useful!
