Opening of the main exhibitions
Intertwining is the theme of the 11th Vintage Photo Festival, which will fill Bydgoszcz and Toruń from September 19 to October 19, 2025. This year, the festival invites audiences to explore how techniques, eras, and emotions intertwine in photography. Today, images accompany us at every step – created in fractions of a second, often with the help of artificial intelligence. The line between reality and creation is becoming increasingly blurred, and viewers lose certainty about what is documentary and what is fiction. In this context, the return to classical photographic techniques takes on particular significance – reminding us of photography’s role as a tool for recording truth and bearing witness to a moment.
