The workshop is free
These workshops are intended for those responsible for photographic collections and aim to prepare them for making informed, effective decisions in crisis situations, especially in the event of water damage or flooding. Participants will learn about the specific vulnerabilities of different photographic techniques, how to recognize priorities under time pressure, and what common mistakes to avoid during rescue operations. A key element of the program will be practical training – from simulated rescue actions to the use of simple, readily available tools and protective materials. The workshops place strong emphasis on hands-on preparation and developing readiness to respond during the first, crucial hours after a disaster, providing participants not only with knowledge but also with a sense of agency in emergency situations.
